It's a keeper! November 3, 2008 P.K. (Kansas City, MO) I recently started jogging and did not want the "bounce" factor to discourage me. I ordered three different bras (36D) and this was the only one I kept.
Worth the Big Bucks for REAL Motion Control May 24, 2008 D. Rausch (West Coast USA) I do not spend a lot for bras. I have only worn inexpensive sports bras which I did not intend as any type of motion control for intense sports. I purchased a rebounder (mini trampoline) and perhaps because I had a lumpectomy last year, my breast seemed extra sensitive to the movement. I went in search of a very high quality sports bra so that I can enjoy my exercise routine on the rebounder. I have not read any of the other reviews so I will just give you my experience. I tried bras that did not have an opening because they are cheaper and I'm used to them. The only way they are tight enough to give me good support is if they are too tight to get both my arms through without dislocating my shoulder. Trust me, buy a bra that opens and closes! AND one that has adjustable straps like this one. Front or Back opening? Doesn't matter. I THOUGHT wanted front opening because it hurt my shoulder to reach around behind me to close the back opening style. But it was harder to close the front opening because they had more hooks so I discovered it was very simple to close the rear opening by doing it in front and then just turning the bra around and putting my arms under the straps. The front opening was so difficult to close for ME because I wanted this bra as tight as possible. I intend to become smaller and I'm budget minded. I want this bra to last a long time and by squeezing into the smallest one possible, it will continue to support me longer as I lose weight and inches. This bra is labeled "Great for Full Figures C-DD) and I wasn't sure it would be good for me because I consider myself a 34C at this weight and when I lose a few pounds my breasts will be even smaller. Now that I have worn this bra several times I am convinced that even if I have to use some sort of padding, to continue to have the support I need, This bra will continue to support me well for a very long time. The only negative I can find is that the bra I purchased has a little snap on the flap to close off the end. I find that snap very difficult to open after I close it so personally, I just let it flap around while I'm bouncing and it doesn't bother me a bit. Maybe that snap is just extra difficult on the particular bra I bought. Or maybe I just hate snaps? It isn't so much that it is actually difficult to open as much as I feel as though pulling it open is going to rip the material. Probably, this material is plenty strong to be able to open and close it forever and I'm just not used to such high quality fabric and construction! I am VERY pleased with the COMFORT AND SUPPORT this bra gives me. I intend to wear it till it falls apart and then I'm buying another one. It is actually SO comfortable that I may buy another one just to wear (in loosest position;) as my everyday bra. I think some of the extra comfort is because the straps do have an adjustment. I realize that the cheap bras I've been buying will never be as comfortable as this bra. I guess we really do get what we pay for when we spend the big bucks to support our boobies!
Good Bra, could be better May 22, 2008 elm I suppose I am only giving this bra a 3 because I had higher expectations based on the other reviews on the site. It is a supportive bra, but there is still some bouncing. Perhaps not enough movement to justify a second bra, but still some and its a little annoying. Also, I still have the "uniboob." Granted, it is not quite as bad as with some of the other sports bras I've worn, but I was hoping for something better. The bra got me through a high impact cardio-kickboxing class without painful or embarrassing bouncing, but there was still more bouncing than I wanted. This bra is very snug. Perhaps if I ordered up a size, it would be better. As it is, I had to fasten the bra first, then put it on over my head. On the plus side, it not only has hooks, but a snap too, so there is no way it might come undone.
good support but awkward to put on March 3, 2008 H. Sinclair 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have taken up running and needed a supportive sports bra for my C's! This champion max. support definately helps reduce motion and is adjustable on the back strap with hooks and snaps, as well as the shoulder straps with velcro. Felt comfortable to wear but is a little tricky to put on, unless you do the "fasten in front and twist" option. Ordered thru amazon from Lady grace who sent it fast and in good condition.
Great Bra January 28, 2008 N. Booker (pa) I think this bra is great. Offers maximum suport, keeping the "girls" in place. The velcro straps are a bother at times but overall I am really pleased with this purchase.
