This was a Christmas gift for an 11-year old - it didn't even make it to New Year's. A piece of the plastic snapped off and we wound up throwing it away. Definitely not worth the price I paid.

Our son was thrilled to open this on Christmas morning and had fun with it for a brief time. It broke easily. My nephew was here also and received the same toy, lasted just as long. My brother in law who is an engineer said that it was probably the type of grease used that broke down the plastic. He works with manufactured goods that are outsourced to China, and they often don't test the chemical reactions of the plastic with certain types of grease. Whatever the reason, this toy doesn't last, and it was pricey considering the durability.
