My seven year old is enjoying this product. Really fun listening to the cat purr. A little bit hard to hear heartbeats. A bit faint, but definately can be heard. The ear pieces are pretty tight and hurt a bit. I bent them out a little bit to make them more comfortable. Good first set. If you want really good quality listening device, spend more. This is a TOY. Not the real thing. But for the price, it gets the kids interested and fascinates them too.
